Having an entrepreneurial goal while working full-time is challenging. I’ve been procrastinating on the launch of this site for quite some time. Fear that it wouldn’t be perfect or fear that someone would copy my ideas. As far as copying my ideas, I’ve had a few experiences with imposters. At first it was very frustrating and I took it personally. How could they steal my ideas? I trusted them! I soon learned that we all borrow and gather inspiration from each other. Its human nature and it’s a very beautiful thing! My way of thinking has now changed and I’ve realized that if I can inspire or help someone with my own knowledge or life experience then I’m doing my part in giving back to the world. Once I changed my way of thinking I no longer had any fear of being duplicated because I’ve realized that it’s not about a business idea, it’s about the person behind that idea. To be an entrepreneur means you’ve got the ability or can acquire the ability to adapt to change. You must be able to roll through the challenges and come out the other side with a fresh new idea or concept. Combine these efforts with the willingness and drive to execute your plans and your on your way to becoming an entrepreneur.
